Donu is designed to keep your task data private and to minimize data sharing.
Your categories, tasks, and most app data are stored locally on your device using Apple technologies such as SwiftData.
If you use Donu’s AI chat or AI-assisted features, the app sends the content required to process your request to our backend services hosted with Firebase Functions. This may include:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs for behavioral profiling.
However, when you use AI features, necessary data is processed by our service providers, including Firebase/Google infrastructure, solely to operate the feature.
Chat history is stored locally in the app. Data sent to backend services is processed to serve your request. Service providers may temporarily handle technical data as required to operate and secure the service.
Donu is not intended to collect personal information from children knowingly. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the issue.
